Suite à la décision de fermer les bibliothèques au public en raison de la situation sanitaire, l'équipe de la Bibliothèque continue son travail pour maintenir le service public.

Dès le 25 novembre, vous pouvez à nouveau emprunter et rendre livres, partitions, revues et autres documents à la Bibliothèque sur le site des Bastions et à La Musicale! Plus d'informations sur cette page.

Les salles d'étude et autres services demeurent momentanément inaccessibles sur les quatre sites. Les manifestations culturelles sont suspendues, nous travaillons activement sur le report de tous les rendez-vous de médiation.

De nombreux services sont proposés à distance. Découvrez ici des propositions à consommer sans modération et restez connecté-e-s en vous inscrivant à notre newsletter, nous vous tiendrons informé-e-s dès que la date de réouverture sera connue.

Virtual exhibitions

As you cannot come to us, our exhibitions come to you! The brand new «Données de base, bases de données» exhibition, which was due to start on Monday, 2nd November in the “Couloir des coup d'oeil” at the Bastions main branch, is entirely available online!

Digitization of the Library's collections

The workshop produces reproductions of documents on various media. If a document is not available online (see "online offer" below), you can request it from num.bge(at)ville-ge.ch. Prices and conditions on this page.

Exhibition loans

The Library regularly lends objects for exhibitions. Requests for loans of documents and the processing of these items will continue during the closure to the public. General conditions are to be consulted here.

Document donations and print orders

The Library continues to sort documents given to it and order new ones.

Registration assistance for Swisscovery Catalogue City of Geneva

The migration to the new swisscovery catalogue will be effective on December 7, 2020. Pending access to this new research portal, readers can register at www.geneve.ch/swisscovery. A pdf tutorial and a video tutorial will soon be available on this page.
