Historique

Outreach lies at the heart of the Bibliothèque de Genève’s activities, and indeed the institution’s mission remains to both preserve and promote its collections. Its different sites are places where people can come together and share, helping them to discover the many treasures of our rich cultural heritage and forge closer ties between the public and the Bibliothèque.

Our outreach activities are directed at both the general public and the community of researchers and students, including those at the high school and university levels. These activities are developed in keeping with the outreach charter of the City of Geneva.
