Tour of Bibliothèque de Genève exhibitions
The library offers exhibition tours of the Espace Ami Lullin, the Bastions main library exhibition venue. More information on the agenda page (only available in French).
Admission to the Musée Voltaire is free of charge, Monday to Friday and the first Saturday of the month, 2 pm – 5 pm.
Visitors will discover on the ground floor the museum’s permanent collection. Comprising mostly paintings donated to the museum by the institute’s founder Theodore Besterman, as well as pieces of furniture that once belonged to Voltaire, the collection is presented in a wonderful historic setting that was recreated during the renovation of the building in 1994.
Temporary exhibitions are regularly mounted.
Guided tours can be arranged for groups by appointment. Contact tel.: +41 22 418 95 60, or institut.voltaire(at)ville-ge.ch
